Full moon in Scorpio Tarot Spread and Blog!

Happy full moon in Scorpio!

A transformational time!

This Full Moon known as the Flower Moon, which represents the blooming of flowers during springtime.

It is the last Luna eclipse in Scorpio for 7 years

Lunar eclipses occur when the Earth passes between the Sun and the Moon, casting a shadow on the Moon. Astrologically, this represents a time of release and transformation, as the shadow side of our emotions and subconscious is brought to the surface. Eclipse energy is like a full moon on steroids, and it’s amplified! In Scorpio, this eclipse may bring intense feelings of passion, desire, and rebirth, as we are urged to confront our fears and transform them into something more empowering.

In addition, there is an opposition to Uranus. Oppositions in astrology often bring a sense of tension and duality, and this eclipse will likely heighten those feelings. Uranus is known for bringing sudden change and unexpected events, and its opposition to the Full Moon may indicate a time of unpredictability and instability. However, this is also an opportunity to break free from old patterns and embrace new beginnings.

Mercury and Pluto are also in retrograde. So, be more aware and mindful of this energy right now.

Look back to where you were 6 months ago.

What has served its purpose since then?

What or who do you need to let go off?

A bigger picture is being built and sometimes we need to go through some pain or face hidden secrets that may now come to light.

Depending on where Scorpio sits in your chart, is where you will have the most transformation.

This will help with long term healing, to be more compassionate and to have a more meaningful life.

It is important to feel grounded during this emotional Full Moon. Make sure to take time out and enjoy the outdoors. Get close to nature, go barefoot, and feel the energies of the earth underfoot.

The death card rules Scorpio along with the planet Pluto the planet of the underworld.

Both bringing change, death, transformation and re birth.

Ask yourself what do you need to let go off now for your higher good

Now we often say to cleanse ourselves, tarot cards and crystals on a full moon, however, this full moon differs! Instead of cleansing your powers, in this turbulent time, cast a stone over a bridge into water, or write and light on a bay leave what you want to release, saying “I give permission for any karmic contracts that no longer serve my higher good ” – you can say out loud or write of the bay leaf someone’s name if needed before burning it safely and leaving it for the next 3 days

A full moon ritual is a time to get quiet, reflect, and celebrate. Unlike the new moon, the full moon represents fruitfulness and completeness and brings with it a lot of energy.

Here’s how to approach your ritual:

1. Be calm.

Since there is likely quite a bit of energy present, it’s best to find a way to bring calmness into your space, so that you can harness the energy to your benefit. Take a few cleansing breaths, sage your space, and chill.

2. Write it out.

Take a moment to reflect on the past few weeks. What has transpired? Where are the successes? What are you bumping up against? Where do you see opportunities for growth and expansion?

3. Release and Declare.

Once you’ve clarified what’s come to fruition and what hasn’t, it’s time to write down and release what is getting in the way of the experiences that haven’t arrived yet. You can burn down “written barriers or blocks” in a fire-safe vessel.

4. Take a moon bath.

If you can, get outside and let the moonlight touch your skin. Just like our bodies need the Vitamin D from sunlight, we also benefit from moonlight. It’s said to help reduce inflammation and known support our menstrual cycles.

5. Dance it out.

Whether you’re celebrating or still calling in your dreams (remember, it doesn’t happen overnight!), dance to your favourite music to move any stagnant energy out of your body and bring more lightness and joy inside.

Carving out space during these moon phases to go inward and take stock of what’s showing up for you, creates the opportunity to create intentions and find rhythmicity in your own life.
