Summer Solstice

The solstice that marks the onset of summer, at the time of the longest day, about 21 June in the northern hemisphere and 22 December in the southern hemisphere.

Here in the U.K, the northern hemisphere, its supper sunny right now and were all making he most of it before it changes! I love Summer, I try and cut back my workload so I can enjoy fun things with the kids, this year were off to Turkey a few days after the Solstice, so we can enjoy some real hot sun and fun!

This time of year, for me, sees me looking back over what I have achieved in the last 3-6 months. My hopes and dreams from around Feb/ March time, I check in now to see if they are on track, coming to fruition or maybe not going anywhere. As a mid-point, I see it as a evaluating check in. Am I on the right pathway? I am happy with things? What do I need to let go of or do I need to put any more energy into anything?

I also use this time to play! I take time out to enjoy the summer evenings with friends, weekend trips out and I love spending time chilling in my garden watching the bees and butterflies do there thing. New projects I wait until September. There are a few. Things I’ve been working on and some will be launched but the new ones to work on will wait till later.
