January – April Diary of A Mystic
So, I usually do this monthly, but this year has been a whirlwind! When I finally got around to catching up on my last blog post, I couldn’t believe it was from December! Here we are, well into 2024, and I’ve been busy as a bee with various behind-the-scenes projects, alongside my daily readings for some amazing clients while starting to teach my first Astrology course.
To kick off the year, I gathered with friends to create vision boards for 2024, and so far, things are looking promising! Manifestation is my jam this year, and I’m feeling the energy flowing.
On top of that, I’ve completed the Tarot handbook for my students and the Tarot Astrology journal, both of which you can find on Amazon. And stay tuned because I’ll eventually be putting them up on Etsy too!
After many months, or should I say years, the Astro Tarot deck is finally ready for pre-order through my website, www.katemay.co.uk. I’ve got the samples in hand, and I’m absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out. It’s been a long time coming.
And the excitement doesn’t stop there, this project along with my vibe for manifesting has sparked inspiration for a new deck, along with a companion book titled “Manifesting with Tarot & Tools,” set to launch in May. Keep your eyes peeled for more updates.
On the family front, we’ve been celebrating left and right, Mr. Flaaa’s birthday, my brother’s birthday, and my firstborn’s 18th! Can you believe it? Cue the inevitable drunken phone calls to pick him up from who-knows-where at midnight lol. We have also had some fab days out including visiting a gorge crystal cave!
And on the home front, we’ve been getting our DIY on, giving the place a fresh look. I’ve swapped out the rose gold for gold and white, and I’m absolutely loving it! There’s something special about walking into a room and instantly feeling that positive energy, it’s like a big hug for the soul.
We had two major highlights recently: our annual trip to Western Super Mare for Spirit Quest, which is hands down my favourite weekend away with the spirit crew! Despite battling tonsillitis right before we left, I managed to nip it in the bud quickly enough, so it didn’t ruin the fun. Sure, I couldn’t indulge in a tipple, but it was still an incredible weekend. I particularly enjoyed leading a workshop on manifesting with Tarot.
Another standout was a weekend in Eastbourne with TJ Higgs, which has quickly became my other new favourite spiritual getaway. Surrounded by wonderful people, I had the opportunity to lead a Tarot workshop while Mr. Flaaa delved into mediumship workshops. And to top it off, we were treated to an awe-inspiring demonstration of TJ’s trance work, absolutely mind blowing.
I wholeheartedly recommend both of these weekends to anyone looking for a transformative and unforgettable experience.
I’ve been keeping busy with Tarot workshops and demonstrations, even adding a splash of mediumship into the mix. After honing my skills through platform practice at our local church and joining Billy Cook’s online mediumship class, I’m absolutely loving it! While I’ve been doing mediumship in my one-on-one readings for years, stepping onto the platform is a whole new adventure, and I’m excited to keep growing in that realm for the foreseeable future.
One of my manifestation dreams was to write for a magazine, from January I have been super lucky to be part of “spiritual lifestyle” magazine by TJ Higgs, at present it is an on line magazine but lets just say when magic people get together nothing is possible! I write the Tarot predictions for each zodiac sign and share current themed Tarot spreads form my collection I created in lock down, I knew they would come in handy one day! As April draws to a close and May arrives, the weather is finally starting to brighten up, and I’m nearly finished with most of my behind-the-scenes work. That means it’s time to soak up some summer fun with the family and focus on ramping up my presence on social media while enjoying my new gold and white themed happy home.
